Bohdan – Our Gentle Giant
Bohdan is an incredible Hunting / Field Trial Weim with a stunning Confirmation, beautiful block head, and truly exceptional AKC / CMKU (Czech Kennel United) pedigree including MANY international champions and grand champions on both sides of his bloodline.
We started looking for a breeder in Europe that could offer an exceptional bloodline that went back to the Weimaraner’s roots in Germany. We also wanted BOTH of the parents to be champions in the Confirmation Show Ring as well as in Hunting Field Trials, and after a couple years of research and hard work, we found a couple of incredible Weim enthusiasts / breeders in the Czech Republic. Our big plan for Bohdan is making him the cornerstone of our breeding program going forward and we can’t wait to see how he progresses! Bohdan’s mother is a Multi-International Champion in the Confirmation Show Ring and Hunting Field Trials. Bohdan’s father is a Multi-International Grand Champion also in both the Confirmation Show Ring and Hunting Field Trials.
He is a high class gun dog that is a pleasure to train and hunt with. He is a strong running dog in the field, he naturally points with high head and tail, and he naturally retrieves to hand. In the house and with the family, Bohdan is the calmest and sweetest Weim we have had the pleasure to call a Curious Weim. He is very well-mannered, incredible with children, and he loves to play with us and our whole pack of Weims!! His character is magnificent which makes him the picture perfect family dog. Bohdan is completely neutral to other dogs showing zero aggression to other dogs, cats or any other animals.
